Prefer the installed 2.x package code and current documentation over examples from LaraPost 1.x. 2. Never invent provider credentials, tokens, connected accounts, or provider capabilities. 3. Operator routes are protected by auth by default; do not weaken that as a shortcut. 4. TikTok defaults to TIKTOK_PUBLISH_MODE=upload. Direct Post requires explicit creator-facing choices and consent. 5. LaraPost's MCP write tool intentionally does not perform TikTok Direct Post. 6. When queueing posts, ensure a Laravel queue worker is actually consuming the configured queue. 7. When scheduling posts, ensure Laravel's scheduler is actually running. 8. Disabled platforms are outside the runtime surface. 9. Treat create/cancel MCP tools as side effects and call them only for explicit user intent. 10. Run php artisan larapost:doctor before real publishing after installation or significant configuration changes. ## Source map - config/larapost.php — configuration and environment contract - src/PostBuilder.php — fluent publishing, media, queueing, scheduling, account targeting - src/SocialMediaManager.php — driver resolution, publishing, token refresh - src/Console/Commands/InstallCommand.php — installation behavior - src/Console/Commands/DoctorCommand.php — production diagnostics - routes/web.php — dashboard, connect, and callback routes - src/Mcp/ — optional MCP server and tools
